Wilma Jeanne (McIver) Chasteen 93, of Indianapolis, Ind., died November 26, 2016 at home. Born June 29, 1923 in Charleston, Ill. To Hiram F. & Margret Eileen (McMullen) McIver. She married Clyde Chasteen and he preceded her in death in January of 1954. Mrs. Chasteen was a 1941 graduate of Frankfort High School. After she married Clyde, they moved to Indianapolis. Wilma worked for Indiana Bell for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Beech Grove, was a member of the Senior Citizens Club in Beech Grove for 12 years, and was a past Senior Citizens Club Queen. She loved to travel and enjoyed photography.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services will begin at 11 a.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Cremation burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.

Daughter: Cathy (Mike) Stoppenhagen of Indianapolis, 3 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen in 1972, brother Harrison F. McIver and a granddaughter, Yvette.
