William “Gene” Mosson, 86, of Frankfort, Ind., died at 3:45 a.m. September 19, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Born July 24, 1930 in Boone County, Ind., to the late Arthur W. Mosson & Lora Mae (Pruitt) Mosson Baker. He married Donna Sue Ostler on July 23, 1950 in Jefferson, Ind. and she survives. Mr. Mosson was a 1949 graduate of Colfax High School and a 1957 graduate of Barber School in Long Beach, Cal. He served in the National Guard from 1948-1951. Gene was owner/operator of Mosson Barber Shop in Frankfort for 20 years, work for Clinton County Bank/Regions Bank for 20 years and also owned and operated a stump removal business for 18 years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2056 E. Wabash St., Frankfort, Ind. Pastor Gregg Davis will officiate the service at the church. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or First Church of the Nazarene; envelopes will be available

Wife: Donna Sue Mosson of Frankfort, 3 Sons: Thomas Gene (Margie) Mosson of Frankfort, William Michael (Patti) Mosson of rural Frankfort, Donald Ryan (Amy) Mosson of North Salem, 1 Daughter: Suanne (Thomas) Mosson-Muller of White Springs, Florida, 2 Brothers: Nelson (Maryjane) Mosson of Lafayette, Bruce (Nancy) Mosson of Florida, 15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded by:
a brother, Arthur Mosson Jr., 2 sisters, Aleta Hadley and Juanita Kain and a great great grandson, Grayson Dunham.
