I worked with Frank at the Pub in the mid 70’s. I recall him as such a pleasant and even tempered man who ran a very efficient kitchen of which the many customers who frequented the Pub would consistently rave about the comfort food prepared by his hand. He never missed a day of work to my best recollection and Bud Long told me how fortunate he was to have Frank in his employ. My condolences to all in his family and to the many he connected with in this life. He has achieved his final reward and may he rest in peace.

Thank you, Tom, for your kind thoughts. Frank’s aim was to give every customer their moneys worth and I believe he accomplished that. He taught me to flip pizza dough in 20 minutes when we first started at the Pub and when I complained that my rings were tearing holes in the dough he told to take them off. I was worried about working in a bar without wearing my wedding ring on until I heard Bob Aveline introduce me as “Mrs. Frank” and knew I had nothing to worry about! We also had many good memories of the Pub.

To the family, Frank was my route supervisor when I worked at Crown Laundry for a few years around 79-82. I can honestly say he was the best route supervisor there, with the best work ethic of anyone I have ever worked with. When I would get to work most days my truck was already loaded by Frank and waiting on me. When he rode my route with me he would be out of the truck clothes, shop towels or what ever in hand before I could get out of my seat, on those days I would get done over an hour early. All I had to do on the day’s he rode with me was drive the truck handle the paper work and money. Frank was one of the good guys and the time I worked with him made a lasting impression on me. Even after nearly 40 years I have thought of him often and with deep respect.

I worked with Frank at Long’s Pub in the late 70s. Frank was a kind and quiet man, and always smiling while working. His beef bruisers and pizzas were the best! Our customers loved his food and so did I. May God test his soul. I hope many wonderful memories help you to smile through his loss. My prayers are with your family.
