William E. Brant

William E. Brant 85 of rural Frankfort, IN, died at 9:45 p.m. February 21, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Born October 12, 1924 in Clinton County to Russell ‘Ted’ & Meda (Parker) Brant. He married Carolyn Lowery on March 26, 1950 and she survives. Mr. Brant was a 1942 graduate of Michigantown High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. A self-employed farmer he also worked at Federal Mogul for 24 years. He was a life member of the Moose Lodge #7. Mr. Brant enjoyed his 4 grandsons.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association, envelopes will be available.

Wife: Carolyn Brant of Rural Frankfort Daughter: Elaine Henderson of Rural Frankfort 2 Sons: Craig (LeAnn) Brant of Forest, IN and Curt Brant of Rural Frankfort Brother: Donald (Phyllis) Brant of Frankfort Brother-in-Law: Dale Reppert of Frankfort Sister-in-Law: Carolyn Lou Brant of Frankfort 4 Grandsons: Adam & Ryan Henderson and Brandon & Bryan Brant

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Earl Brant and infant Richard Brant and 1 sister, Julia Reppert.
