Wayne David King 68, a former Frankfort resident, passed away in Lake Worth, Florida on October 17, 2013. He was born in Frankfort on February 17, 1945, the son of David W. and Merle E. (Cornelison) King. He attended Woodside School and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1963. One of his greatest pleasures in life was to play golf. He played on the high school golf team and was honored by the U.S. Golf Assoc. for making a hole in one on the Frankfort Country Club golf course. He lived in Kokomo and worked at Delco for 30 years, retiring and moving to Florida in 1994.
Visitation and Services
A graveside memorial and burial will be at St. Luke Cemetery, north of Frankfort, IN on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
Survived by:
Two children, Sherry Hengen and Jeff King of Thorntown, IN, one grandchild, one brother, Danny of Indianapolis and 3 sisters, Carolyn Schulz of Boynton Beach, FL., Lou Ann DeLong of Enumclaw, WA and Helen Shirley Pruitt of Mauldin, SC., along with nieces and nephews.
