Wanda L. Gerber Wilson 77, of Frankfort, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Signature Healthcare in Lafayette. She was born on June 22, 1939 in Rockville, Indiana to Ira Richard & Cordia Lee (Mitchell) Cox. She married Billy David Gerber on October 28, 1960 in Manhattan, IN. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1997. Wanda then married Danny Wilson on October 20, 2002 and he survives. Wanda was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, eating and the company of friends. She also enjoyed sewing, decorating cakes, coloring and word searches. She was a 1958 graduate of Reelsville High School where she was a cheerleader.
Visitation and Services
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from Noon until time of service on Saturday. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.

1 Son: David W. (Vicki Kinslow) Gerber of rural Frankfort, 1 Grandson: Stephen Gerber of Frankfort, 2 Sisters: Ardella Evans of Greencastle and Gloria (Floyd) Pelfrey of Greencastle, and 1 Brother in Law: Joe (Glorietta) Crooks of Greencastle.

In addition to her parents and first husband she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Viola, Rosa, and Richalou and a daughter in law, Christine Gerber.

We are very sorry for the loss of your Mother, She was a great neighbor when we live in the trailer court. I wish Brenda and I could come up
but we now live in Noblesville, and I don’t drive that much anymore. Our prayers are with you and your family. The only thing I can say i know where is up there with your Dad, and he was there waiting on her with open arms.

I’m glad I got to know your dad and mom when we lived in the trailer park, I know how it feels to loss your mom,I lost mine a year and a half ago.
