Walter O. Harmon

Walter O. Harmon 78, of Frankfort, died at 4:09 a.m. December 3, 2015 at his home.  Born August 31, 1937 in Frankfort, IN to the late Ora & Elizabeth (Balingall) Harmon.  He married Kitty E. Allen on August 11, 1958 and she survives.  Walter was a Parts Manager at Farmers Service & Equipment John Deere Dealership for 44 years. He was a lifelong Frankfort resident and a 1955 graduate of Frankfort High School. He served his country in the US Army from 1957 until 1959.

Visitation and Services

Private Family Services will be held. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorials in Walter’s honor can be made to Wounded Warriors or the American Heart Association.

Wife: Kitty Harmon of Frankfort, 3 Daughters: Jane Rena (Husband: Bill) Young of Frankfort, Brenda Diane (Husband: Quint) Villars of Rossville, Amy Jeanne (Husband: Steven) Smith of Frankfort, 2 Brothers: Gary Harmon of Tipton, Tom Harmon of Michigan City, Sister: Joan Donoho of Frankfort, 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren also survive.
