Vernabell Boulden 87, of Frankfort, IN, died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born December 20, 1926 in Hartford City, IN to Ora & Hazel (Manning) Campbell. She married James Lawson Boulden on January 12, 1946 in Logansport and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1993. Mrs. Boulden was a graduate of Logansport High School. She had lived in Hartford City, Logansport and had been a Clinton County resident for over 55 years. She had formerly attended the Eastside Christian Church. Vernabell was a homemaker.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 9th at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.

Survived by:

Daughter: Linda (Charles) Wilcox of Frankfort, Son: Bruce A. Boulden of Frankfort, Sister: Maraline Atkinson of Muncie, 2 Grandchildren: Richard Royer of Frankfort, Nikki Longmore of Las Vegas, NV, 9 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

a sister, Fae, a brother, Eldon, half-sister, Johanna, half-brother, Clifford, great grandson, CJ Stevens and a granddaughter Valerie Vice.

    To Linda & Chuck, Sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. Mother is in a much better place now, HEAVEN. You were very lucky to have your Mother this many years.

    My heart aches for you both. Losing your mother is one of the hardest things in life to deal with. There are many prayers going up for you both for peace in your grief. Hang on to the wonderful memories you have with her. (((HUGS)))

    Linda, I am so sorry about Vernabell’s passing. She lead a great life being as young as you and Tresa were. The three of you had a great time together. Vernabell was her second Mom until Tresa moved away and lost contact with you all. She’s in Indianapolis, not great in health. She drives very little and can’t get around to good. I told her daughter Tammy to let her know about Vernabell. She can’t sit in a chair long enough to get on line. I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you after I seen the obituary in the paper on line. I live in Kokomo, and sometimes check the obits and I’m glad I did this time. Im sorry and I hope you remember all the good times you three had together. God Bless you all.
