Timothy E. Boyles

January 3, 2016

Timothy E. Boyles 67, of Frankfort, died at 10:27 a.m. January 3, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Born December 16, 1948 in Kokomo, IN to Daniel & Mary (Thompson) Boyles.  On June 30, 1967 he married his high school sweetheart Connie (Snodgrass) Lane. He then married Esther Smith on April 25, 1977 and she survives. Tim was a 1967 graduate of Frankfort High School. He retired in 1997 after 30 years from Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo.  After being a wrestler himself in high school, Tim loved watching his son, Cory, wrestle. He was a
friendly man who enjoyed a beer with friends in the afternoon. He was passionate about his cars, of music, and watching digging dirt on TV. Tim’s greatest joy, however, was his family. 33. Susan Stocker January 6, 2016 at 7:41 pm

    Tim,
As I visited with your family and friends today I saw just how truly loved you were. A continual line of people whose lives you touched waited patiently to honor you and tell there stories about what you did for them or how they knew you. I never got to really tell you how much I appreciate and love you. You were the kind of father that I always wanted mine to be. Thank you for forever changing my life, for changing my children’s lives!

    To Tim’s grand babies,
Your grandfather Tim was a wonderful man. when I was a young teenager I decided I wanted to find my birth father. I didn’t know him and he lived states away unaware of my existence. Your grandfather knew how much finding my dad meant to me. He watched me cry as we searched and searched. he actually shed some tears with me as we searched and would come to a lead just to be let down again. But, Tim never let go of hope, never gave up! He searched until we found my dad. We shared some tears of joys together that day. My children have a grandfather because of your grandpa! I will always remember the days spent sitting by the computer searching for all the Richard Stockers we could find. Thank you Tim!

    Esther,
I have no words to say other than I am truly sorry. It puts a smile on my face knowing that you got to spend nearly 40 years with an amazing husband, father, and grandfather! He loved his family so very much and it showed on his face everyday. I will be praying for comfort and peace to surround your family during this time. I love you very much.

Tim was one of the best guys I know. Always kind and concerned about his classmates and wonderful to all the ladies. I loved his sense of humor and his love of family. I know you’ll all do well because Tim talked about all the things Esther did to make sure they were financially sound. He was so proud of you Esther, Cory, and Timmy. He was proud of his grandchildren too and wanted to share that with us. God needed Tim because he was the best. Will miss him always. And Esther make sure you come to all the class get togethers….you are one of us
