Thomas R. Jones 88 of Frankfort, IN, died at 12:07 a.m. May 8, 2010 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born January 27, 1922 in Monticello, KY to the late James Webster & Bonnie (Clapp) Jones. He married Monetta Melton in 1952 and she preceded him in death on July 15, 1971. Mr. Jones worked at Smurfit Containers in Frankfort, prior to that he worked for Winski Brothers. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from November 17, 1942 to October 18, 1945. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Victory Chapel Church.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 12 Noon, Monday, May 10, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service.  Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, to assist the family with burial expenses.

1 Daughter: Anita (Don) Roberts of Frankfort 1 Son: Fairon R. Jones of Frankfort 2 Sisters: Phyllis Jones of Indianapolis and Christine Hollars of Kentucky 14 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren
