Teresa Joann (Carney) Rose, 71, of Indianapolis, died August 9, 2019 at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. She was born July 1, 1948 in Frankfort to Artus Carney Jr. & Patricia (Randolph) Carney. She is survived by her husband, Robin Rose, who she wed on May 26, 2007.
Teresa was a graduate of Frankfort High School and received an associate’s degree as a medical assistant. She has lived the majority of her life in Indianapolis. She worked as a medical assistant for two years before becoming a chef. She had worked as a club manager for American Legion Post 495 and North Eastwood Bowl. Teresa was a life member of the American Legion Post 495 and was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A funeral celebration will begin at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Husband: Robin Rose of Indianapolis, Granddaughter: Brooke (Ryan Roth) Power of Rowley, Iowa, Great Grandchildren: Trinity & Oakley Roth, Step Grandchildren: Amber, Rusty & Jessica Rose, Step Great Grandchildren: Alyssa Kost, Dominic Rose & Charlie Rose, 2 Sisters: Carolyn (Kevin) Lewis of Frankfort, Joyce (Chuck) Cerbone of Frankfort, Brother: Artus (Annette) Carney of Frankfort. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Shrock, children, Bernice Shrock and Jack Shrock, brother, Richard Carney and sister, Marilyn Eavey.
