Ted Robert Sterling, 70, of Frankfort, passed away December 20, 2021 at Mulberry Health, Mulberry, Ind. surrounded by his loving family.  He was born September 14, 1951 in Frankfort, Ind to Robert M. & Joan L. (Behr) Sterling.

Ted was a 1969 graduate of Frankfort High School.  He worked in sales for Jaggers.  He loved reading and watching the history channel.

 

 

Visitation and Services

Memorial Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort.  Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. 

Survived by:

Surviving are his Son: Dustin (Tia) Sterling of Sheridan; Daughter: Kristy Dixon of Florida; Mother: Joan L. Sterling of Frankfort; 2 Sisters: Susan Cottrell and Jan (Nevin) Ewing both of Frankfort; and 5 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Jamie Sterling

    Enjoyed many years working with Ted, he was always fun to be around. He will be missed by many. Ted had a good heart and would go out of his way to help anyone.

    For all of us who loved Ted our hearts are broken. Teddy (Bob) was the best cousin, friend and second brother to me ever! We spent hours together at Grandmother Best’s house and Bonnie’s house when I lived in Frankfort and every summer when I came to visit. So many “adventures” with Susan Michael, Ted and me – just wish we had kept in touch more in later years. Thinking of you dear Ted with love. You will always be in my heart!💕

    So sorry to hear about the passing of Ted. I worked with him for many years at Jaggers. He always had a smile on his face and would try to lighten the mood on the rough days. I know he’s finally made the cut for the JC Penny catalog as a model! He will be missed.
