Tammy Jo Lane, 64, of Frankfort, died January 10, 2024 at Kindred Hospital North, Indianapolis, Ind. She was born August 21, 1959 in Frankfort to the late Harry & Sandra Kay (Sheets) Stidham. She married Herbert Lane on June 10, 1979 in Frankfort and he survives.
Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Frankfort High School and attended class at Ivy Tech following high school. She was a lifelong Frankfort resident and worked for Clinton County dispatch as a 911 operator for 19 years. She was a former member of the Antioch Church. Tammy was a Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan and loved her fur babies.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.

Not one day will ever pass that I will not think about you, your the most loving, caring, may I add most stubborn women I’ve ever met just like your mom (grandma), but you only wanted the best for everyone, you were quick to put me in my place when I was in the wrong, or not on the right path, always looked out for me. I love you to the moon and back, just know your loved and missed by everyone, you put up a fight I tell you that!! Love you gobs mom
