Sue A. Mathews 70, of Frankfort, IN, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at her home. Born April 3, 1941 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Ernest E. & Alice (Peter) Rothenberger. She married William E. Mathews on August 17, 1957 and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2006. Mrs. Mathews attended Frankfort schools. She worked at Hooks, P.R. Mallory and she retired from Federal Mogul. Her memberships included Faith Family Ministries, American Legion Auxiliary and she was a former member of Eagles and Moose Lodges.

Visitation and Services

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Scotland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Faith Family Ministries.

Daughter: Deborah (husband Mark) Wheeler of Clarkshill Son: Andrew W. (wife Judy) Mathews of Frankfort Brother: Richard ‘Rick’ E. (wife Terry) Rothenberger of Frankfort 9 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by a son, Randolph Mathews, in 1958.

    We are so sorry to here of your mothers passing. We were out of town when this happened and just got home yesterday evening. I (Sandy) really enjoyed visiting with your Mom and will miss her. It is so hard to lose your parents. I know how much you looked after her. Take care and know that many care. You are in our thoughts & prayers.
