Facebook Twitter GoogleTo the family of Red Ghere,
I want to express my condolences for the loss of Mr. Ghere. I also want to share some info with you. I think my Dad, Johnny Freeland, probably played baseball with Mr. Ghere for the Frankfort Owls!? My Dad, now deceased, was a little older than Mr. Ghere, but not that much. He came home from WWII in 1945, and was about 27 at the time. He was a catcher, and I bet Mr. Ghere pitched to him at some time. I just remember Dad speaking very highly of Will “Gear”, a famous name to me as a kid! I am sure Mr. Ghere will be missed by all of you, but I imagine you also have many fond memories of him as I do of my father.
Sincerely,
Pam Freeland

Facebook Twitter GoogleCondolences to the family. It was an honor to have met Red & Carole helping with Clinton County 4-H projects. He was a true leader for the families in the dairy project. His appreciation was also noticed as the highway superintendent. Being from the opposite side of the county he always had a concern if road upkeep was adequate in our area also.
