Stanley E. Smith 76, of Frankfort, Indiana, died August 10, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Born on April 6, 1936 in Frankfort to Charles E. & Nina A. (Pedigo) Smith. His marriage was to Glenita Dickey and they divorced. Mr. Smith was a 1956 graduate of Jackson High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. He worked at Peter Paul for 10 years, Zachary Confections for 15 years, Bill & Dave’s Antiques for 14 years and Peddlers Alley for 3 years. He was a member of Faith Family Ministries. Mr. Smith enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 14th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Son: Zachary (Darla) Smith of Michigantown Daughter: Angie (Jimmie) Smith of Frankfort 3 Sisters: Beverly (Troy) Michaels of Frankfort, Barbara (Frank) Merrill of Kokomo and Marilyn Davis of Thorntown 2 Brothers: Max (Bettie) Smith and Carroll (Companion Fred) Smith both of Frankfort 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Bill Smith, 4 Sisters, Julia Phillips, Jean Shearer, Doris Guinn and Betty Hoffman.

    Angie, sorry to hear about your dad. I worked with him and he was always a good guy. It is too bad he is gone, but he is in a far better place.
