I was so sorry to hear about Sid’s death. Didn’t even know he had been ill. He just happened to be one of my very favorite cousins, and I will miss him so much. I could tell such great stories of when he used to come and stay with us when we were kids. My mother was so very, very fond of him, as she was of all the Moore kids.

Our hearts go out to everyone that knew and loved Sid. He was a fine man with a very big heart. He was a grassroots American and a hard working man that served his country and loved his family. Although we have lived in Florida for the past 30 plus years we kept in touch with Uncle Sid. He will be missed by many people.

My wife and I want to express our sorrow of the passing of Sid. He was like a father to my son and we will miss him.

I was Sid’s sister-in-law many years ago, married to his brother Bud, who passed away at the young age of 52. Sid was such a good man. Always kind, always generous. He came to be with Johna and me when Julie lay on her death bed at the hospital, and he slipped Johna some money to “help out”. That was Sid. When Buddy and I were dating as teens, he borrowed Sid’s cool Mercury several times to take me on dates. As a matter of fact, I would not be surprised if our first daughter was conceived in that Mercury! I did not know Sid was ill, and I am just so sorry to hear that he must have suffered. He did not deserve that, but I will wager he did it with quiet dignity. My heart goes out to all the family who took me in as one of them many years ago. I think of you all so very often with love and happy memories. I know where Sid is. He is with God. Enough said.
    Love Always and Always,
    Bud’s Becky
