Shirley Jean Wampler, 82, of Mulberry, Ind., died at 2:55 p.m. September 4, 2017 at Milner Community Healthcare, Rossville, Ind. Born September 4, 1935 in Mulberry to Ernest & Virginia (Felix) Doyle. She married Truman A. Wampler on June 6, 1953 in Mulberry and he survives. Shirley graduated from Mulberry High School. She was homemaker, a waitress, and a member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Mulberry. Shirley loved flowers, square dancing, camping, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 610 W. Jackson St., Mulberry, Ind. and one hour prior to the service. Funeral Services will be 12 Noon Saturday, September 9th at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lafayette, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.

4 Daughters: Teri (Michael) Clow of Colts Neck, NJ, Lori Hillis of Michigantown, Lisa (Bradley) Weaver of Dillsburg, PA, Lesley (Jeff) Otten-Kaloustian of Carol Stream, IL, 2 Brothers: Jerry (Nancy) Doyle of Mulberry, Ronney (Rose) Doyle of Fort Myers, FL, 9 Grandchildren, Jonathan & Sarah Clow, Holley (Brad) Hillis-Rogers, Johannes, Zephaniah & Quentin Weaver and Joshua, Xavier & Nathaniel Otten.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert K. Hillis.
