Scott Earl Werner, 73, of Frankfort, died April 3, 2021 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind. He was born July 6, 1947 in Frankfort, Ind. to Clarence A. & Clara E. (Todd) Werner. His first marriage was in 1970 to Nancy Obermiller and they later divorced. He then married Jane Kinslow on December 20, 1985 and she survives.
Scott was a 1966 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Vietnam from 1966-1968 and then from 1968-1972 he served in the Army reserves. He worked for Chrysler in Kokomo for 34 years, retiring on November 30, 2002. He was a member of the Connecting Point Church, the American Legion, and the Lions Club all in Frankfort. Scott enjoyed billiards, fishing and spending time with family.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Connecting Point Church, 400 S. 3rd St., Frankfort. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Cancer Fund, 258 ½ Fourth St., Frankfort, IN 46041 or Frankfort Lions Club, c/o Owen Matz, 751 Forest Dr. Frankfort, IN 46041. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Brother: Mark (Julia) Werner of Frankfort.
