Scott A. Walsh, 59, a former Frankfort resident, died at 7:45 am. November 19, 2020 at his home in Darlington, IN.  Born October 23, 1961 in Frankfort, Ind to the late Robert & Carolyn (Caldwell) Walsh.  He married Linda Kay Cox on September 10, 1988 and she survives.

Scott was a 1980 graduate of Frankfort High School and a veteran of the U.S. Airforce.  He worked at SIA for over 25 years.  He was a member of the American Legion in Darlington, Darlington Conservation Club.  He was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider/enthusiast and road across country several times.  He loved going to auctions and flea markets, as both a buyer and seller, he also enjoyed working as a volunteer at the annual Feast of the Hunters Moon alongside his sister and brother-in-law.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be Noon-2 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A private family service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Darlington Conservation Club, 6924 E 750 N, Darlington, IN 47940. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

    I met Scott 13 years ago while working at SIA. He was always such a nice fun guy. Always waving and saying hello to me when we passed each other, even years later. I’m so sad to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

    I’ve known Scott since childhood. He was a friend and classmate. I also knew his mother and father. I’m sadden to hear of Scott’s passing. I use to run into Scott at flea markets and auctions. We enjoyed bidding against each other. He will be missed. My condolences to his wife, brother, sister, son and daughter, and all those who loved him.     Had the pleasure of working with Scotty for the last 16 years at Subaru. He was a kind, decent, person who always made us smile and laugh and never complained.     Oh the great memories Scott brought to so many. He always kept the good humor and laughter alive, especially in those days so long ago at your family lake house.
