May your love for each and the beautiful memories that you shared give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting Sandy over 50 years ago as a young child at Kyger School. I worked in the office before school selling school supplies to the students. She was the kindest, nicest and sweetest lady I had ever met. She always made me feel so special and loved. She was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. It’s rare to find a friend like her and we have all been blessed to have known her. My heart breaks for the Isgrigg family. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Doug and I are so very sorry for the loss of Aunt Sandy. We wanted to be there and are so very sorry we couldn’t make the trip. She was an amazing woman. She had a way to make you always feel at home and loved. Even though we lived hundreds of miles apart, we always knew that Aunt Sandy & Uncle Larry cared for us. After all, I owe my 30 year marriage to them! At my first visit to Indiana they told Doug that “I was a keeper” and thankfully he listened! She taught this Oklahoma girl to make her famous Indiana hamloaf and my family is grateful to have a memory of her and Indiana each time we have it. She always made me feel appreciated for taking care of Joanne and I needed that. Aunt Sandy was an inspiration of how to be a mom and grandma! She was so proud of her kids and grandkids and devoted her life to family. Many
People learned from her example I’m sure!
We will miss that beautiful smile, and the warm hospitality. We are praying for Larry and all the family in this difficult time. We love you all. Sending great big hugs. Doug and Randi Isgrigg

I met the Isgriggs when I was taking cardio rehab at Witham. Larry had just had heart surgery. The main memory then was that Sandy always went to cardio with Larry. That wasn’t true of most. They were clearly a loving couple. Later they joined my church–New Hope–and were a blessing. We will miss Sandy immensely and I know she is with our Lord.
