Sandra E. Evans 59, of Frankfort, Ind., died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  She was born on April 16, 1958 in Frankfort to Samuel O. Barker & Virginia M. (Amich) Crabtree.  Sandy married Eddie Evans on Nov. 23, 2008 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2012.  She worked at F. W. Woolworth Company in Frankfort after graduating from Frankfort High School in 1976.  Sandy later worked at Crellin Plastics from 1978-1989.

Visitation and Services

Private family burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. No public services will be held. Goodwin Funeral Home and Clinton County Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements.

Survived by:

2 Sons: Michael Barker of Indianapolis and Matthew (Tori) Barker of Lafayette, 5 Brothers: Samuel “Sonny” (Dawn) Barker of Frankfort, Larry (Julia) Crabtree of Frankfort, Steve (Connie) Crabtree of Wabash, Jerry (Sharon) Crabtree of Florida, Eddie (Becky) Crabtree of Frankfort, 1 Sister: Kim (Max) Moody of Thorntown, 1 Grandson, Ike Barker and 1 Granddaughter, Penelope Barker, and 1 Aunt: Betty Jane Catron of Kirklin.

Preceded by:

In addition to her parents, Samuel O. Barker & Leonard H. & Virginia M. Crabtree and husband, Eddie, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Creasy and 2 brothers, Joe Barker and David Allen Crabtree.

    Sandy was my classmate in high school my son Larry Kaylor and her son Michael played together quite often. I have many good memories of her kind and happy spirit, she will be missed and I am so sorry for your loss.
