Samantha Lynn Ambler, 43, of Frankfort, died March 6, 2023 at I.U. Health Arnett, Lafayette, Ind. She was born December 6, 1979 in Frankfort, Ind. to Charles “Cannonball” and Sandra (Burge) Ambler.  She was married to Ray Walker and he preceded her in death.

Samantha was a 2000 graduate of Frankfort Schools and a lifelong Frankfort resident.  She was a homemaker and attended the At the Well Church.  Samantha loved animals.

Visitation and Services

No funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to Goodwin Funeral Home

Survived by:

Son: Charles Ambler of Pierceton, Ind., Sister: Ruby Ambler of Frankfort, and Companion: Scott Orem of Frankfort.

Preceded by:

In addition to parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles and a sister Hazel.

    Ruby, I’m so sorry to hear of your sister passing. She was a wonderful friend. I talked to her at Walmart before she was supposed to go in. She will be greatly missed.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Samantha from the high school. She was always very positive and had a smile for those around her.

    Sending my deepest condolences from the Walker family. I loved Sam and I know my grandpa Ray did as well. May both of them now be at peace together. She will be missed.
