Facebook Twitter GoogleRuss was part of a group of boys who all hung out at the Frankfort Country Club and who all played on the Hot Dogs golf team. We had a blast. He used to sing Elvis songs all the time, and we all remember his renditions of “I’m All Shook Up” – “Hound Dog” – and “In the Ghetto” just like it was yesterday. My sincere condolences to the Gearheart family. May you find comfort in the knowledge that such wonderful memories of Russ will live in the minds of many of us forever.

Facebook Twitter GoogleLike Bill Clossin, the Frankfort Golf Team is where I knew Russell. Although he will be remembered for his goofy ‘Elvis’ impersonations, he had a competitive side to him about the team. He hit some pretty impressive shots out there at FCC. He wanted to win just as much as the rest of us did. It was a special group of boys and Russell was certainly one of us. God Bless you Russell. Our hearts go out to you and yours.

Facebook Twitter GoogleRuss was a wonderful person. I enjoyed taking care of him at dialysis. He made each day an experience. I was so excited when he came back to Frankfort. I will miss him dearly. He was a very fun and loving man. Dialysis won’t be the same without him. Betty, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. My dearest sympathy goes out to you all. I will not be able to make it to either the visitation due to working in Lafayette on Friday and dialysis on Saturday. You all will be in my thoughts.
