Ruby Eileen Buntin 92 a former Frankfort resident, died at 11:35 p.m. July 29, 2010 at Clarian Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, IN. Born January 6, 1918 in Clinton County to the late Berna C. & Carrie E. (Heffley) Patchett. She married Chalmer E. Buntin on October 5, 1937 in Frankfort, IN and he preceded her in death on January 12, 1989. Mrs. Buntin was a 1937 graduate of Michigantown High School. She was a homemaker and also worked at Mallory in Frankfort. She had lived in Lafayette since 1988. Mrs. Buntin attended First Assembly of God in Lafayette, and while living in Frankfort, attended Eastside Christian Church.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, August 2 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery.

3 Daughters: Lou Ella Sheridan of San Antonio, TX, Joyce A. Rogers of Gallatin, TN and Cheryl L. (Warren) Lawton of Lafayette 2 Sons: Chalmer E. (Colleen) Buntin Jr. of East Moline, IL and Thomas G. (Karen) Buntin of Moore, OK Brother: Wayne (Karen) Patchett of Lebanon 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

Preceded in death by a daughter Donna, 3 sisters, Bonnie Languell, Elsie Goldsberry and Marlene Katzman and 2 brothers, Harold Patchett and Russell Patchett.

    Aunt Ruby was a dear sweet person. She always had a smile and a kind word to say. My sympathy to my cousins and their families. She will be truly missed. Your Aunt Elsie is welcoming her in heaven now with open arms. Love, Glenda
