Rosemary Shuler

Rosemary (Evans) Shuler, 90, of Frankfort, died January 18, 2020 at her home.  She was born May 11, 1929 in Boone County, Ind., to William Henry and Nellie (Holmes) Evans.  She married Paul R. Shuler on June 1, 1947 in Tipton, Ind., and he preceded her in death on October 29, 1992.

Rosemary was a 1947 graduate of Scircleville High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident.  She had worked at Schlossers for 12 years and Peter Paul Cadbury for 16 ½ years, retiring in 1982.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Rosemary enjoyed crosswords, shopping and going out to eat, camping, babysitting, infant babies and loved her family.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral celebration will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Alber will officiate. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.

2 Daughters: Angela Sceggell of rural Frankfort, Darla (Peter) Glovacki of Venice, Florida, Sister: Mildred Cooper of Elida, Ohio, 10 Grandchildren, Katherine Evans, Paul Mathew Brock, Wendell Mitchell (Trish) Brock, Erica (Patrick) O’Neil, Tyler (Jessica) Sceggell, Kori (Paul) Trainor, Abby Bloomquist, Holly Duke, Christopher (Jen) Glovacki, Nicole Glovacki, 13 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 4 sisters, a daughter, Marcia Brock and a son-in-law, George Sceggell.

    Angie and Darla, so sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. I worked with both your mom and Marsha. I remember seeing your mom on the front porch in her chair during the summer she always had a smile on her face.
