Rosemarie Stroup, 90, of rural Kirklin, died August 7, 2021 at Homewood Health, Lebanon, Indiana. She was born October 4, 1930 in Rossville, Ind. to Manson & Pearl (Stinebaugh) Calloway. She married Gale Stroup Jr. on September 3, 1950 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1998.
Rosemarie attended Rossville schools and was a 1948 graduate of Frankfort High School. She was a lifelong Clinton County resident. After graduation, Rosemarie went to work at Farm Bureau in Frankfort and was a cook at Scircleville Schools. She was then a homemaker and helped her husband farm.
Visitation and Services
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. August 28, 2021 at the Michigantown Christian Church, 108 W. Second St., Michigantown, Ind. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main, St., Frankfort is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Michigantown Christian Church.

2 Daughters: Sandra (Jeffrey) Smith of rural Kirklin, Shirley (Denise Abshire) Stroup of New Palestine, IN, 2 Sisters: Lelah Russell of Kokomo, Joan (James) Tarkington of Frankfort, 3 Granddaughters: Lauren (Blake) Pullen of Frankfort, Amanda (Micah) Cline of Frankfort, Crystal Mihay of Kirklin, 6 Great Grandchildren: Jackson & Jacoby Pullen, Levi & Lucas Cline, Ayana Flowers, and Ariella Bolian.
Preceded by:
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her infant son, Robert Stroup, 7 brothers, Jesse, William, Troy, Robert, Sylvester, Joseph and Emmett Calloway and a sister, Velda Moulton.
