Ronald Gene “Bic” Cheek, 59, of Summitville, Ind., passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1958 in Tipton, IN to Jesse J. & Wilma (Yeary) Cheek. Gene was formerly married to Peggy Napper. Ronald worked as a Welder and was a veteran of the US Army from 1976-1977. He was a member of the Milwaukee Iron Motorcycle Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum, Frankfort, Ind. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7363 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219.

Mother: Wilma Cheek of Summitville, Sister: Linda Schweitzer of Alexandra, IN, 2 Sons: Joshua Cheek and Calvin Cheek both of Oklahoma City, 3 Daughters: Jessica Cheek of Oklahoma City, Tia Cheek of Kansas City, MO, Lea Cheek of Alexandra, IN, 2 Nieces: Kim Harrington (Marc Swindell) and Michelle Harrington, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Richard James Cheek.
