Ronald E. Davies, 89, former Frankfort resident and current resident of Tavares, Florida, passed away on April 4, 2023 at AdventHealth Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Florida. He was born on March 20, 1934 in Frankfort, Indiana to Clayton B. and Helen P. (Royer) Davies. He married Patty Barton on January 31, 1959 in Lafayette and she preceded him in death on November 26, 2021.
Ronald was a 1952 graduate of Frankfort High School and served four years in the United States Army, serving in Korea. He worked as a Stationary Engineer for the Frankfort City Power and Light before becoming Stationary Engineer for General Motors in Anderson until his retirement in 1992. He was a 50+ year member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine in Indianapolis. Ron was an avid fan of the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts and enjoyed camping. He had lived in Florida for over 20 years and loved golf cart rides with his Lhasa Apso “Charlie”.
Memorial donations may be made in Ron’s honor to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
Family services will be held with burial in Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort, Indiana. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort is honored to assist the Davies family.

Son, Jeffrey A. (Kathy) Davies of Frankfort, Daughter, Shari (Jeff) Amos of Greenfield, Sister: Julia Archer of Bentonville, AR, 3 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
