So sorry for the loss of Ron. He was a good boss & I learned a lot from him. I liked the way he worked through all of his ways that were sometimes hard for others to understand. I especially loved the way that he loved & respected all of his family. It was so nice the way that he kept in close touch with his mom & was so proud of his son & wife, Debbie. I do already & will miss him more in the future. So glad that I got to know him & work for him. Peace & blessings to all of his family.

  6. Charles and Sue Fink December 10, 2015 at 9:41 pm

    Debbie and Greg,

Ron has been a personal friend for many years. We shared conversations about many topics in our favorite breakfast resteraunt. Ron cared about family, the Frankfort community and was committed to do the best in all the jobs he held. His optimistic outlook when confronted with medical challenges was we thought a very good sign. I’m at a loss to understand why he’s gone but know Ron would be upbeat and still trying to attend or watch Michigan State with his green and white sports gear.

We can only send our heartfelt condolences.
    With our hugs,

    Charlie and Sue Fink

I grew up with Ron and his siblings, Don and Lois. My father and his mother were brother and sister. We were two years apart and use to have so much fun visiting his parents’ home in Temperance, Michigan and having swim parties and cookouts with the family in their backyard. We would also travel with the whole family to Wampler’s Lake in Michigan for a picnics and swimming. His mother and father owned a farm in Michigan and I just loved to visit and see all the animals, and of course, my dear cousins. When he was very young I called him “baby Ronnie” and acted like his big sister, until, of course, he grew up and asked me to start calling him “Ron” instead of Ronnie. He was on the more quiet, studious side and I think that is why we got along so well.

I will miss him terribly as we usually had a phone visit around every three weeks. My heart goes out to his sweet wife, Debby, son, Gregg and daughter-in-law, Lindsay. Also my dear cousins Don and Lois.

I am thankful to the Lord for having him as a dear cousin and his family will always be in my prayers. My husband, Jon, also liked him and enjoyed several recent phone chats.

Love to his family and he will remain forever in my heart.

I have fond memories of cousin Ron, much of it shared by my sister Gail Clary in her condolence. Great memories include growing up with cousins Ron, Don and Lois who lived just across the Michigan border from my home in Toledo. Ron was 3 years older than me, but we shared interests such as baseball and good Italian food prepared by his mother when I spent weekends at his home. In later years we lived further apart in Florida and Indiana but always kept in touch. I wish I could have spent more time with him in recent years, but my fond memories of Ron will dwell in my heart the rest of my life.
