Facebook Twitter GoogleMy sympathy goes to Roger’s family from ours. He was a gentle man, full of love and hope. My mother enjoyed his gospel CDs up until the time of her death in 2004. I especially enjoyed his company at our Cousins Reunions and at weddings. He will be missed by all who knew him. I will be unable to attend the funeral due to my husband’s recuperation from hip surgery and a prior commitment on Saturday. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo The Spencer family – please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. “If a man dies, shall he live again?” asked the man Job long ago. (Job 14:14). Well, the Bible promises “Your dead ones will live…they will rise up.” And the Bible also says. “the righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” (Isaiah 26:19); (Psalm 37:29). May you draw comfort from those scriptures and may Roger be among those resurrected to life.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the peace that only God can give comfort you all in this difficult time. Having known Roger and his family most of my life, my heart goes out to you. His love for the Lord and his love for gospel music were a very special gift. I can’t help but think about how many lives were touched by his incredible talent. Facebook Twitter GoogleThinking of the Spencer family, especially the Spencer boys at this sad time. Back in the days when the boys played Little League at the TPA park we saw the Spencer family a lot since our boys were close to the same age and playing LL as well. Those were fun days and fond memories. It was obvious the love and pride Rodger had for his sons. Thankful for a man that loved the Lord and shared that with others. Remember your Dad and your precious memories and time shared together. Weep, but also laugh and laugh often. I pray for God’s grace and comfort during this sad time.
Sincerely,
The Mike Harris family
