Roger A. Markwardt

August 15, 2020

Roger A. Markwardt, 66, formerly of North Platte, NE, died August 15, 2020 in the Mulberry Friendship Village Apartments.  He was born December 29, 1953 in Campbell, Nebraska to Robert & Charlotte (Heinrich) Markwardt.

Roger was a 1972 graduate of North Platte High School in Nebraska.  He worked most of his adult life in construction, retiring 4 years ago from Sampson Construction.  He moved to Indiana in May of 2019 to be close to his children and grandchildren.  He loved Cornhusker Football, playing golf, a cold MGD and making people laugh.  Roger treasured these past 14 months being close to his children and cherished his time with his grandsons, although he missed his hometown and family in Nebraska.
