Robin A. Rader 55, of Frankfort, IN, died at 10:50 p.m. August 31, 2013 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, IN. Born June 7, 1958 in Lafayette, IN to the late Harold “Lee” Bloyd & Patricia (Petro) Bloyd Haggard. She married Randy R. Rader on April 8, 1995 and he survives. Robin was a 1976 graduate of McCutcheon High School and grew up in Clarks Hill, Ind. She worked at Frito-Lay as a sanitation coordinator since 1981. Among her interest were motorcycles and traveling, especially vacationing in the Caribbean. Robin was a true people person and enjoyed her co-workers at Frito-Lay.

Visitation and Services

Friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 5th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery, Mulberry. Donations in memory of Robin may be made to I.U. Health Arnett Foundation, c/o Cancer Care, P. O. Box 5545, Lafayette, IN 47903.

Husband: Randy R. Rader of Frankfort, Son: Richie (Erika) Isabell, Daughter: Kristi Young and their father, Richard Isabell all of Lafayette, Stepson: Christopher A. Rader of Indianapolis, 2 Brothers: Rick (Marla) Bloyd of Kokomo, Marty Bloyd of Fishers, Sister: Linda (Doug) Swartz of Chesterfield, IN, 5 Grandchildren, Gage, Easton, Ebanni, Gwendolyn and James.

    I’m so sorry for Robin’s family. Randy I worked with the both of you for many years and my heart breaks for you. I never knew all of her family but I did know Rick her brother. My prayers are with all of you now and in your healing process.

    I am so sorry about Robin’s sickness. She was a very great person and will be missed very much. She was my first boss at Frito on sanitation and loved her greatly. Rest in peace and no more suffering… She was a strong fighter against her sickness. I will miss her greatly. Wishes go out to the family.. A very great person but never forgotten. Love you Robin.

    My grandma was a wonderful women. She loved all of kids and grand-kids like we were hers. She would come in town every Wednesday to see all of us grand-kids.

    God seems to always take the good people first. Way too young. Robin was very enjoyable person and loved by all when I worked at Frito-Lay. May her spirit surround all those who loved and were loved by her. There is a way better place for all of us although it is very difficult to understand when we are still on this earth to carry on. May the angels wrap their arms around those grieving. God bless her family and show them strength in this difficult time.

    Hi mom. I just want to say that even though Kristi and are no longer married you were still always there for me. You would give me advice when I needed it or just some one to talk to. You have a heart of gold. You never made it feel like I was no longer a part of your family. So I guess what I’m trying to say is: I love you mom. And you will be greatly missed.

    We cannot imagine the heartbreak that you are all going through. We loved Robin. She had such a big heart. She would put others before herself. She loved to celebrate life by baking birthday cakes for the people that she worked with. Robin was from a very rare breed, she was unique. We would have to write a book to tell all of the wonderful qualities that she possessed. Our prayers are with you and the family. May God give you His peace now and in the days to come.     My dearest friend Randy…you were completely loved by Robin with her whole heart & soul, and what a huge one she had at that!! Her smile told the story of this. The battle for Robin is over now. Her body is new, one without pain. She is in her “perfect heavenly place”, one that has been prepared for her. Robin was a strong, forgiving, selfless person. She was respected & loved by so many people & will be missed by all that she came in contact with. There is no good time to have the one’s we love leave us, however…it isn’t in our control. Robin fought with all she had, as she did in all things in her life here on earth so very well.
    To Robin’s family, I pray you find the comfort & peace that only comes by God. Help one another thru these difficult day’s to come.
    Randy, Robin will be walking with you, helping you along the way. Right now she’s busy soaring with the heavenly angel’s!! How cool is that! Reach out to people & allow them to help you Randy get thru this daily, 4ever change.

    This breaks my heart to learn of Robin’s passing. She was so dear to everyone that knew her. No matter how busy she was she always took time out to share a story or listen to yours. Many many years have passed us by, I remember Robin from my days at Harrison high School and then when I got on the bus my first day going to McCutcheon there she was on that bus what a nice surprise that big beautiful smile she had and she said here sit with me… Robin will will be missed you have touched so many peoples hearts…….

    Randy, Kipp and I are so sorry for the loss of the love of your life… Her and I had lots of long talks and I listened to her and she listened to me. She always was smiling and a joy to be around. I am glad that we got to go to Sturgis together because I got to know her even better than I already did. She will definitely be missed by all of us.
