Roberta Caroline Howard 89 of Frankfort, IN died on May 7, 2009 at 9:15 pm, in Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frankfort. She was born on February 27, 1920 in Clinton County, the daughter of Grover Glen and Emma Jane (McLaughlin) Corns. She married John W. Howard on May 5, 1946 in Frankfort, IN and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2007. Mrs. Howard was a 1938 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. She worked at Indiana Bell, co-owned several businesses with her husband and was a homemaker. Roberta was the first popcorn girl at the Roxy Theatre and her memberships include: First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Frankfort, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the Kentucky Historical & Genealogy Society.

Visitation and Services

Services will be at 10:30 am Monday, May 11, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Howard will be laid to rest at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, IN. Memorials may be made to: Charity of Donor's Choice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
