Visitation and Services
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene or Clinton County Cancer Association. The family would like to thank Bob’s many caregivers who with their care allowed Bob to peacefully spend his final days at home.

Behr Sterling of Frankfort 1 Son: Ted (Fiancé Julie) Sterling of Frankfort 2 Daughters: Susan (Charlie) Cottrell and Jan (Nevin) Ewing both of Frankfort 7 Grandchildren, Dustin (Tia) Sterling, Kristy (Jim) Sterling Dixon, Craig (Angie) Cottrell, Stacie Cottrell Lowe, Cal Ewing, Nicole Ewing and Jason (Beth) Hurless 11 Great Grandchildren: Kylie and Christoper Dixon, Greyson Chandler, Madeline and Aubrey Sterling, Mallory Martin, Kyle (Lindsy) Cottrell, Kaleb Petersen, Kishla Cottrell, Will & Lucas Hurless 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Kayden Martin and Ava Cottrell

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Jamie Sterling.

So very sorry about the loss of Bob, he and I had developed a very good friendship and enjoyed very much working together at Center Township, in fact he showed me the ropes, Bob was truly a Gentleman’s Gentleman, he was always so positive and upbeat. I cherished his friendship, and will miss him so very much. I apologize for not making the services I was in Chicago all weekend.
