Robert L. “Rob” Shaw Jr.

Robert L. “Rob” Shaw Jr., 58, of Rural Sheridan, died June 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born on December 25, 1962 in Frankfort to Robert L. Shaw Sr. and Beverly (Duckworth) Ward.  He married Lori A. Grubbs on November 15, 1986 in Monticello, Ind. and she survives.

Rob was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School.  He was a veteran of the United States Army from 1981 – 1984 serving in Germany.  He worked as an Outside Parts Salesman for Midwest Transit Equipment in Whitestown, Ind. for close to 25 years.  Rob was a “worker” who loved his family, was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed fishing.

 

 

Visitation and Services

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is honored to assist the Shaw family.

Surviving along with his Wife: Lori are his Son: Zachary A. Shaw of Rural Sheridan; Daughter: Shelby L. Shaw of Rural Sheridan; Mother: Beverly Ward of Brownsburg; Sister: Pam K. Deaver of Burnettsville; Brothers: Allen D. Shaw of West Virginia and Tom (Rhonda) Ward of Brownsburg.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother: Brian K. Shaw.
