Robert L. Frey 89, of Frankfort, died at 1:40 a.m. January 5, 2016 at Wesley Manor. Born January 13, 1926 in Frankfort, IN to Eben & Delena (Smith) Frey. He married Marjorie Coy on July 5, 1947 and she preceded him in death on April 1, 1993. He then married Maxine (Wells) Clark on August 8, 1997 and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2006. Mr. Frey was a 1944 graduate of Frankfort High School. A veteran of the U.S. Airforce, he served in the Pacific Theater during WWII from 1944-1946. He was an electrical engineer and was named on several patents, working for P.R. Mallorys for 38 years, retiring in January of 1988. His memberships include; First Baptist Church, American Legion, VFW, (40 & 8), Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, Masonic Clinton Lodge #54 and Scottish Rite. In his later years, he was affectionately known as “Paca” by his family and friends.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 12 Noon – 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with the service beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Connie Coy, his niece. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to VFW or American Legion.

3 Sons: Stephen (Donna) Frey of Fort Wayne, IN, Michael J. Frey of Frankfort, K. Daniel (Alvia) Frey of Frankfort, 5 Grandchildren, Catherine, Bernadette, Charles, David and Scott.
Preceded by:
his parents, brother, Kenneth Frey and sister, Wilma Jean Davis.
