I am very sad to see Bob leave us so quickly after Sandy’s passing in May. He will always have a place in my heart. Bob and Sandy loved my kids , my daughter is in the Air Force he was so proud of her. I don’t know of many people that were as kind as Bob and Sandy. I ‘m sure he died of a broken heart he must have longed for his soul mate. I’m sure they are both dancing in heaven and their health is restored. They will be truly missed. If I can don anything please let me know. Use the email and I will respond quickly.
Love in Christ,
Cindy Greer

Facebook Twitter GoogleI know Bob was suffering not only with physical pain but emotional pain. He missed Sandy so much. We had discussed his health issues a few times and he felt he really wasn’t getting the support from the VA that he needed. God love him….we know he at last is at peace.

Facebook Twitter GoogleMany years ago, when my mother was the Colfax public librarian, she would speak of precocious Bobby Kingen! His many questions kept her on her toes. My sympathy goes out to Bob’s brother, Ron, and his family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleMy sincere condolences to the family of Bob Kingen. We went to high school together. We dated for 2 years as friends. Our first date was at the drive inn with his mom in the back seat. We went to the Junior Prom together. Sorry to hear of his passing, it was on my birthday. Again my condolences to his family and friends.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI’m very sorry to see that Bob died. He was very proud of his military service and we were always swapping our old ‘war’ stories in the hallways, on the elevator and at the VA hospital. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Facebook Twitter GoogleWe had known Bob and Sandy for at least 15 years and went many places with them as good friends. Bob was so helpful to people – he helped me get my house ready to move in the Geist area to move to our current location because Larry was sent to CA on a business trip and we only had two weeks to move out! What a help he was emptying our attic and making the move possible! Bob and Sandy were just a perfect couple together. They each had their issues like we all do, but I know he suffered terribly without her. We had Bob for dinner along with my mother who enjoyed his company and we spoke with him on the phone….in this case we ask or wonder if we could have done more to help him. The pain he suffered along with the loss of Sandy was just too much. Bob, you will always be remembered and every time we drive by the Fort, our hearts feel burdened without you! It seems almost unreal that you and Sandy are both gone from this earth. Our hearts also go out to Sam and Sheila as I know Sam is lost without his family, too. We enjoyed their company at Bob’s house as well. May God grant both Bob and Sandy peace at last. Your loving friends, Diane and Larry Leeds
