Facebook Twitter GooglePastor, Greg and Linda (Kuns) Snell, want to express their deepest condolences in the passing of Robert and Regina Beckner. I, Linda, have many fond memories of our (big) family. Many Christmas Day evenings at the Brethren Home. Cousins by the dozens, and other reunions. Home made ice cream. Great Grandma Beckner in her rocking chair. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Blessings and Love, Linda (Kuns) Snell

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo the family of Robert and Regina.
I had just learned of their tragedy and my heart is broken. I never knew Robert but I knew Regina from my childhood. You see, I was a friend of Regina’s son Greg who passed away in 1971 when he was 8 yrs old from leukemia. I have many found memories of going over to Greg’s house. His mother, Regina, was probably the sweetest lady I had ever met. She was always so nice to me. And I remember going to Goodwin’s Funeral Home to pay my respects to Greg and how strong Regina was as she prepared to bury her son. That was the last time I seen her until 1982. She was living on south Jackson street here in Frankfort. She was visiting her neighbors who happened to be my girlfriend’s parents house at the time. I pulled up on a motorcycle and she recognized me and called my name. First time I saw her since her son’s passing 11 yrs earlier. This would have been around 1982. She then moved away but I had heard she was in Flora Indiana. In December of 2021, I went to her son’s grave and took pictures of his grave marker and put on social media the 50th anniversary of his death for our classmates to remember. I posted on there that I wanted to find Regina and visit with her. I wish I would had done it right away since I just learned she passed away less than a month after her son’s 59th anniversary of his death. I didn’t know she got remarried. But I find solace knowing she found Robert. Never met him but but wished I could have. So glad they found each other and that she shared the rest of her life with someone who made her happy. And from the looks from the pictures, she had the family she deserved. I would love to talk to one of the family members about her. But I do don’t know how to get ahold of any of you. My heart is heavy. Just wish I could have talked with her again and share memories of her son.
