Ricky Lee “Rick” Campbell, 71, of Frankfort, passed away on September 19, 2022 at his home.  He was born June 20, 1951 in Frankfort, Ind. to the late John F. & Wanda Kathleen (Scott) Campbell.  He married Brenda D. (Moore) Campbell on June 27, 1970 and she survives.

Rick was a 1969 graduate of Frankfort High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1971-1973.  He had worked in maintenance at Fairfield in Lafayette for 40 years.  Rick was a member of the Christian Life Church. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, fishing, was a gun enthusiast and was a lifetime member of NRA.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 12 Noon-2 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Philip Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Life Church, 2501 E. Wabash St., Frankfort, IN 46041.

Survived by:

Wife: Brenda D. Campbell of Frankfort, 2 Sons: Shanon (Kristina) Campbell of Frankfort and Justin Campbell of Frankfort, Daughter: Kellie (Terry Jr.) Timmons of Frankfort, 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed going to Aunt Wanda and Uncle Johnny’s house for thanksgiving. Rick was always kind to us younger cousins. God bless your family.

    So sorry sweetheart it is not easy losing someone you love so much. It will eventually get a little better but you will always have them with you, they never leave your heart. I’m glad you had a good dad that you will never lose your love for.
