Rick “Rosie” Brown, 57, of Frankfort, died October 26, 2021 at his home. He was born in Gallatin, TN on February 9, 1964 to the late Paul H. & Anna Joann (Dockery) Brown. He married Connie Marie Shannon on November 5, 1983 in Frankfort and she survives.
Rosie attended Clinton Central High School. He was a lifelong truck driver, working for Pelling & Pelling Trucking for several years. Rosie didn’t know a stranger and enjoyed NASCAR, racing, demo derby, auctions and use to drive mini stock race cars.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, Ind. Donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

Brown of Frankfort, 4 Sons: Nicholas (Danelle) Brown of Elwood, Richard (Sandra) Brown Jr. of Frankfort, Chad Shannon of Frankfort, Jeremy Shannon of Elwood, 2 Sisters: Darlene (Joe) Hufford of Frankfort, Rosemary (Dwayne) Shafer of Frankfort, 2 Brothers: Gary (Brenda) Brown of Frankfort, Paul Junior (Melanie) Brown of Frankfort, Several Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Big Dave Shaw and Jay Bray and an uncle, Charles Dockery.
So sorry for your family’s loss. I remember Rosie driving a truck with my dad when he drove for James Stewart, he was always such a wonderful soul. Prayers for you and your family.
