Richard L. Houze, 68, a former Frankfort resident, died February 2, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, Ind. He was born October 28, 1955 in Frankfort to Donald R. & Anjel C. (Hurt) Houze.

Richard attended schools in St. Petersburg, Florida, Frankfort, Indiana and took classes at Ivy Tech in Lafayette.  He was a truck driver. Richard enjoyed fishing, camping, going to festivals and loved being outdoors.

Visitation and Services

Private burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.

Daughters: Haley Houze and Ashlyn Turner both of Frankfort, Brothers: Mark (Bonnie) Houze of Frankfort, David (Kelly) Houze of South Carolina, John Fickle of Frankfort, Grover Fickle of Frankfort, Sister: Betty Fickle of Paoli, Ind., Grandson: Kyzer Dunker of Frankfort

his parents, sister, Vicki Crick, brother, Steve Houze and cousin, Mike Houze
