Richard J. Buckner 54, of Frankfort, IN died on May 2, 2009, at home, unexpectedly. He was born on December 3, 1954 in Frankfort, the son of Alva J. and Vivian (Lappin) Buckner. Mr. Buckner was a lifelong Frankfort resident. He worked at Fairfield Manufacturing as a metallurgy lab technician for 30 years. He was a member of the Antioch Church. Richard enjoyed fishing, was a Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball manager for several years and loved his family.

Visitation and Services

Services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 07, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home , Frankfort, IN, with Pastor Dave Klipp officiating. Visitation will be from 4 pm -7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Buckner will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Frankfort, IN. Memorials may be made to: Lorinda Risse Stewart Memorial Ride with envelopes available at the funeral home.
