Hello, Linda
I was so very sorry to read about Dick’s passing. I’ve been retired myself for a little over a year now and often think about ‘the good ole days’ in the Chem Dept… which both you and Dick were a big part of! My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of your family in this time of sorrow. You have my deepest sympathies, Vonda

My deepest thoughts go out to you and your family at this time.
Richard was the kindest man and you knew that better then any of
us. He tried to help me advance at MMDC when I first met him in
1998 at Purdue. You may not remember Nancy and I, but we met at
some of the MMDC Christmas parties.
Love in Christ, John Chapman

Facebook Twitter GoogleOur sympathy to all of Mr. Lindsey’s family and his wife, Linda. I knew Mr. Lindsey through employment at Purdue and, in fact, he hired me as a secretary in the Chemistry Department in the 1980’s. He was always very kind, always smiling and ready to help whenever he could. He was a good man and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Just wanted you to know how sorry I was to hear of Dick’s passing. May he rest in peace. I just remember him as being such a warm and gentle man during the times I worked with him. He was someone I will always remember. I am so sorry but I can’t be there to give you a hug but just know I will be thinking of you on Sunday and Monday. May you find peace and love during the time. Facebook Twitter GoogleI was saddened to read of Dick’s passing without getting to say goodbye and tell him how thankful I am to have known him and worked with him. He was a true blessing. Such a gracious gentle man whom I was always glad to see. If only there were more in this world like him but I believe they must all be in heaven.
He was proud of you and as he was to me, you were a gift to him Linda.
Sincerely,
Barb

Very sorry for your loss. Though I only met Dick a few times and had a few phone conversations, I know he was a wonderful man. From my experience, Dick was a thoughtful and kind man — he was a man you would want to call a friend!! You all have been in my prayers.
