Rex Allen Robb, 59, of Frankfort, died at 11:50 p.m. January 19, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind., after a battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was born October 15, 1961 in Rushville, Ind., to Robert LeRoy & Sonia Ella (Tanner) Robb.  He married Norene Louise Grammer on October 4, 1987 and she survives.

Rex was a graduate of the Indiana School for the Deaf and attended Ivy Tech.  He was a lifelong Frankfort resident.  A carpenter, he worked for FBI Buildings, Jarman Construction and K-Mart.  He enjoyed doing carpentry work for his friends.   He was a member of two deaf clubs, NCDC in Kokomo where he was past president and MCDC in Anderson.  Rex enjoyed car shows, camping, watching Days of our Lives, Live P.D., NASCAR and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr.  His greatest joy was attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, which he never missed. Rex’s family would like to give special thanks to the Wampler Family.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Wife: Norene Robb of Frankfort, 3 Daughters: Dawn (Danny) Barker of Frankfort, Jenny Kanable of Frankfort, Dana Robb of Frankfort, Mother: Sonia Robb of Frankfort, Sister: Hunny (Joel) Pool of Frankfort, Brother: Bobby (Angie) Robb Jr. of Frankfort, 9 Grandchildren, Chase Kanable, Deacon Watson, Gage Pitzer, Jaiden Pitzer, Logan Barker, Izabella Robb, Xavier Cross-Robb, Dalton Winkles, and Mekhi Winkles. He also has one niece, Morgan Conner and one nephew, Weston Pool.

    I give thank to Heavenly Father for having you as my dear friend. I’m so saddened of Rex’s demise. His life touched me in a way I never had. He brought forth happiness and laughter every time I see him. It’s a blessing for me to be part of Rex Robb and his family’s life. I will see you again in Heaven, Rex Robb! Love you, my buddy!

    Heartbreaking!!! Rex was good husband and good father. Hardly believe that he was officially gone without warning. God’s comfort is with you. I understand your heartbroken as you can’t live without your husband Rex. Hugs tight! Love you always, since you were 5 years old to now.

    We are so sorry for your loss of Rex. He was always funny, kind, I remember him at deaf school in 1975-76 when I was little. Always funny now, so glad that I got to see him few years ago and hang out with you guys. Plus my husband Mike really admired him Praying for you all, we love you.

    To all of Rex’s family. I grew up next to the Robb family. I had many good memories playing with Rex, Candy, Bobby and all of the neighborhood kids. I would go with Sonia and my mom to take Rex to school, had some good times on those trips. Rex always had a smile and could make you laugh. He was a family man and showed the love he had for his family. All my love to you and prayers for God’s comfort to all.

    I first met Rex at MCDC picnic around 6 years ago. We automatically connected about racing things we had good talking. I wish I could have to got to know him a long time ago. He was an awesome person always have fun with people. May Rex rest in peace. Brother you will definitely be missed my racing friend.

    Dear my closet best friend, Rex Robb. He has suffered painful from all over his body since he got in an accidental fall from a ladder. He had his worst pain in both feet but he told me that medicine from doctor never helped him get better till Rex passed away! But now Rex is happy and peacefully in beautiful Heaven and he finally met his sister and dad in Heaven too! R.I.P. Rex Robb

      Rex Robb will be always in my heart forever and I will always memory of him and we grew up together since from Elementary to High School at ISD and we were very close best friend as brother together! Right now Rex is an angle flying higher and he got beautiful smile and watching me on Earth forever till I met him in Heaven again! Love you my best buddy and I will looking up Rex in the sky forever!
