Regina M. Kallner 76, a former Frankfort resident, died at 8:55 p.m. February 22, 2013 at The Villages of Avon, Avon, IN. Born February 27, 1936 in Hardinsburg, KY, to Jesse & Laura Pearl (Woodcock) Morgan. She married Charles E. Kallner on February 5, 1954 at the First Christian Church, Frankfort and he survives. Mrs. Kallner attended Frankfort High School. A self-employed beautician, she was a graduate of Cosmetology College in 1962 where she attained a Master Beautician Degree. The Kallner’s moved in to Brownsburg in 1994 from Frankfort. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg, was a former member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Frankfort, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed church activities, is a member of the Red Hat Ladies in Brownsburg and loved her family and grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2029 S. State Road 39, Frankfort. Visitation will be Monday, February 25th from 4-7 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home and a half hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. In honor of Regina, Goodwin Funeral Home will collect memorial donations for the purchase of holding crosses, which will be distributed at Riley Children’s Hospital.
