Facebook Twitter GoogleI had known Phyllis as a unique, intelligent, feisty (in her own way, of course) lady with a sense of humor. But this year— down in Englewood, in the community that we shared, I was able to get to know Phyllis much better. Unfortunately, it was at a time when she was beginning to experience quite a bit of pain. Despite this, we had great conversations and we were both quite “our selves” with each other. We became good friends very quickly and I sincerely appreciated her dry sense of humor, her sense of keen observation, her “openness” to new ideas and, even though she was feeling pretty terrible, her desire to have fun. I will truly miss her and am imagining/hoping that she is having an amazing experience right now.
