Peggy Jo (Schocke) Gibson 86, of Frankfort, passed away at 6:20 p.m. November 28, 2013 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 19, 1927 in Salem, Indiana to the late Gail C. and Beatrice I (Hannon) Schocke. She married James W. Gibson on November 26, 1947 and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2009. Mrs. Gibson grew up in Salem, IN and attended Salem High School before moving to Frankfort in 1961. She worked at B.F. Goodrich in Salem and Peter Paul in Frankfort. She was a member of the Woodside Christian Church and a volunteer for the Salvation Army. Peggy enjoyed crossword puzzles, and she and her husband enjoyed traveling the flea market circuit, buying and selling across the southern United States. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends, and visiting with neighbors on her front porch.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5 until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 2nd, 2013 in Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Association or the Make a Wish Foundation.

2 Sons: Jimmy M. Gibson of Lenoir City, TN, Virgil (Peggy) Gibson of Gettysburg, PA, 2 Daughters: Linda K. (Rob) Benge of Frankfort, Paula G. (Jim) Miller of Lenoir City, TN, 4 Brothers: Richard L. (Nancy) Schocke of Salem, Mickey E. (Joan) Schocke of Salem, Charles F. “Cork” (Lisa) Schocke of Salem, David W. Schocke of Grand Island, NE, 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Harold A., Barney B and Jerry J. Schocke, a sister, Patty Ann Sill, a granddaughter and a great granddaughter.
Virgil, Linda, Jimmy Michael & Paula, I am very sorry to learn of Aunt Pegs passing. Please know that I loved her very much & remember many wonderful times we had together. She will be missed. My thoughts & prayers are with each one of her children, grandchildren & many friends. May God comfort your hearts during this time. Much love to each of you. Ginny
