Peggy Ann Day

Peggy Ann Day, 70, of Frankfort, died October 29, 2020 at her sister’s home.  She was born on November 9, 1949 in Somerset, Kentucky to Elza and Clara Martin.  Her partner in life was Charles Joseph “Joe” Day and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2020.

Peggy attended Frankfort High School.  She was a CNA for 10 years and a Department Manager at Wal-Mart for 12 years.  She was baptized at New Hope Church.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching horror movies, and online shopping; however, her greatest joys were her grandchildren.

 

 

Visitation and Services

No Service is Planned.  Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort and Clinton County Crematory are honored to assist the Day family. 

Survived by:

She is survived by her Daughters: Angela “Angie” (Brad) Keller of Lafayette and Monica (Jason) Stevens of Arkansas; Sons: James “Jamie” (Tamera) Day of Minnesota, Charles “Joey” (Mandy) Day of Attica, and Michael “Mikey” (Amanda) Day of Sheridan; 5 Siblings; 15 Grandchildren; and 4 Great-Grandchildren.  

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her parents, companion: Charles “Joe” Day, and 5 siblings.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. That’s a beautiful picture of Aunt Peggy. She was always a generous woman with a great sense of humor. I can’t help but imagine the reunion that is going on in Heaven at this time. The siblings all gathered to meet her and Uncle Ed making everyone laugh. My thoughts and love are with you all. Rhonda
