Peggy A. Myers, 96, of Frankfort, died February 13, 2024 at Wesley Manor. She was born June 9, 1927 in Frankfort, Ind. to Frank & Helen (Hart) Jacobs. She married Paul Robert “Bob” Myers on August 30, 1944 in Peru, Ind. and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2011. They were married over 66 years.
Peggy was a 1945 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had worked for Dr. Burroughs, worked at the Clinton County Courthouse for 45 years, including; Treasurer, Recorder & Assessor Offices and also owned the Smith Motel. She had attended the Antioch Church, First Church of the Nazarene and the Country Chapel Church of God. Peggy enjoyed reading, politics, traveling, took many vacations to Florida, and loved spending time with her children and was extravagant with her grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday February 16, 2024, with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene or Antioch Church.

Sons: Chris (Suellen) Myers of Frankfort, Kevin (Dana) Myers of Frankfort, Grandchildren: Steve (Shannon) Myers of Frankfort, Jake (Michelle) Myers of Veedersburg, DeAnn (Jason) Berry of Frankfort, Great-Grandchildren: Brady (companion Kaitlyn Alkire) & Aaron Myers, Briana (James) Brandenburg, Ella (companion Christian Lopez) Myers & Grace Myers, Erica (Evan) Newhart, Matthew & Morgan Berry and Great Great-Grandchildren: Colter, Ember, Waylon, Emilia

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Myers and granddaughter, Sara Ellen Myers.
